A product that is made in a factory

The main source of power during the Industrial Revolution usually made by burning coal

A country that is under the control of a coloniser
Empire
A group of territories rules by one leader usually with many vice leaders

A material that is considered valuable for a certain purpose
Exploitation
The use of someone or something unfairly for personal gain

People whose job it is to spread christianity to the rest of the world
Sepoy
An Indian soldier that fought for the British

Period between 1858 and 1947 when India was ruled directly by Britain because of the sepoy rebellion
Viceroy
The person who ruled over India on behalf of the king or queen

Period of time I’m the late 19th century when European countries rushed to get as much of Africa as possible

When people leave a country for another, usually as a result of a large scale event

The belief that white Europeans are superior to other races

The practice of improving the human race by keeping races pure and preventing different races from breeding

The part of the slave triangle connecting Africa to the Americas where up to 400 slaves were on a ship at a time
