Give an example of disintermediation and how?
Netflix, DVDs of a movie would be sold by the studio to a national distributor, which would then deliver them to HH. But Netflix cuts out one step of the distribution process, directly bridging movie to consumers

books, newspapers, periodicals, movies, radio and television

COMCAST, started out as cable TV to rural areas, now it is the largest cable company, largest internet provider, 3rd largest telephone carrier, own pro bball & hockey team, movie streaming etc.
