What are the THR precautions?
No flexion past 90
No Adduction past midline
No internal/external rotation
No excessive twisting

What are the 3 ligaments making up the lateral ligaments of the ankle?

What is the Thompson test for?
For ruptured Achilles tendon
What type of activity is more likely to cause Achilles tendonitis?
Hiking, jumping up and down, being on toes.
What are the 2 main causes of MTSS?
- A stress fracture in the tibia
- Tendinitis- of soleus, tibialis anterior/posterior
What is a Morton’s neuroma?
A swelling in between the 3rd and 4th metatarsal in the foot
- From repetitive activity, jumping up and down
What is hallux valgus?
Big toe crossing towards the second or third toe
What are the 4 main ligaments of the knee? What is the terrible triad?
ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL.
ACL, MCL, medial meniscus
What are the two tests for an ACL sprain?
The Lochmann or Anterior drawer test.
