  • Punctuation, your talking about starting and stopping points.
  • We choose out starting and stopping points, because that effects the interaction. (ex - Nagging wife, and withdrawing husband).

Symmetrical interaction - We get into an interaction and we start mirroring each others behaviors (ex - someone starts yelling, so you start yelling as well)

Complementary Interaction - Give the greatest distance between interactions having a relationship based on difference. (ex - Straight man and comedian).
