Writ of Habeas Corpus
A court order that the individual in custody be boroughs into court and shown the cause for detention; Habeas corpus is guaranteed by the Constitution and can be suspended only in cases of rebellion or invasion

Elections held to determines a partie’s candidate. Open = day of, closed = day before and only for own registered party
Private Bill
Provides benefits to specified individuals (including corporate bodies). Individuals sometimes request relief through private legislation when administrative or legal remedies are exhausted. Many private bills deal with immigration-granting citizenship or permanent residency.

The residents in the area from which an official is elected
