- Occurs when intravascular volume is decreased, resulting in poor cardiac output
- Volume of loss may be the result of a non- hemorrhagic or hemorrhagic cause

Over 40%: Hypo, severe tachy, deteriorating mental status

- Stabilization of airway
- Continous cardiac monitoring
- Large bore peripheral IV access
- Urinary cath

A
- FINDING SOURCE OF BLEEDING / STOPPING
- Rbc, plasma, platlet replenishment

Non-Hemorrhagic Hypo Shock
A
- Rapid infusion of WARM, isotonic crstalloids
- Notify emergency response team
