-Decreased pupil size
-Lens lose elasticity
-Fibers begin to thicken & yellow
-Visual acuity may be diminished

-Cerumen (ear wax) becomes dry
-Gradual sensorineural loss
-Auditory reaction time increases (longer to respond)
-Presbycusis (loss of high frequency sounds)

-Lungs developed at gestation
-Surfactant developed at 32 weeks
-Lungs continue to develop after birth
-Aveloli continues to form up to 8 years old

-Widened thoracic cage
-Costal breathing
-SOB-dyspnea
-Increased oxygen requirement

-May experience difficulty deep breathing
