First step in bone break healing
The damaged blood vessels release blood this blood forms a clot. This clot is a hematoma
Second step in bone break healing
The internal callus forms in the hematoma and the external Callus forms around the bone break
Third step is bone break healing
In the internal callus chondroblasts produce cartilage the osteoblasts invade and new bone is formed. This new bone is spongy bone.
Forth step in bone break healing
Replacement of sponge bone to compact bone also the remodeling of sites by osteoclasts
The 3 main layers of skin
Epidermis
Dermis
Hypodermis
The to skin cytes and where they go
Keratinocyte goes on top of melanocyte
The 2 stratum and where they go
Stratum corneum and stratum basale
The corneum is the top layer and the basale is the bottom layer
The 2 layers of skin where blood runs throughout, also where they go
Reticular layer is in between epidermis and dermis and the papillary layer is in between the dermis and hypodermis
All parts of the hair that grow on the skin
Hair
Hair follicle
Arrector pilli muscle
Explain the advantage of jumping with an approach vs a standing jump (3 key terms)
The running jump is better because the running before tells your muscle to recruit more tissue for the jump. The stretch flex before the jump get your muscles warmed up instead of just jumping. The elastic property of muscle means when you dip down before you do your final jump you muscle will recoil you up for a higher and better jump
