preeclampsia/eclampsia
Preeclampsia is one high blood pressure (hypertension) disorder that can occur during pregnancy.
Eclampsia is the onset of seizures or coma with signs or symptoms of preeclampsia
amniocentesis/ biophysical profile
Amniocentesis is a test you may be offered during pregnancy to check if your baby has a genetic or chromosomal condition, such as Down’s syndrome, Edwards’ syndrome or Patau’s syndrome
The biophysical profile is a test done after the 28th week of pregnancy. This noninvasive diagnostic test helps evaluate the fetus. It measures body movement, muscle tone, breathing movement and amniotic fluid volume around the fetus.
Ectopic Pregnancy
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside the main cavity of the uterus. An ectopic pregnancy most often occurs in a fallopian tube, which carries eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. This type of ectopic pregnancy is called a tubal pregnancy.

Terbutaline
Terbutaline is in a class of drugs called betamimetics. They help prevent and slow contractions of the uterus. It may help delay birth for several hours or days
Nifedipine
Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker which has been commonly used in the treatment of preterm labor with dilation of the cervix, with good results. However, the main benefit of a tocolytic drug is the prolongation of pregnancy for a 48-hour period to allow the steroid effect to enhance fetal lung maturity.

Oral Contraception
Oral contraceptives are known also as the Pill, OCs, BCs, BC tablets, or birth control pills. This medicine usually contains two types of hormones, estrogens and progestins and, when taken properly, prevents pregnancy. It works by stopping a woman’s egg from fully developing each month

umbilicus location in newborn
The normal umbilical position is 60% of the way from the inferior border of the xiphisternum to the superior border of the pubis in the midline
Why is a non stress test done
A nonstress test is used to evaluate a baby’s health before birth. The goal of a nonstress test is to provide useful information about your baby’s oxygen supply by checking his or her heart rate and how it responds to your baby’s movement. The test might indicate the need for further monitoring, testing or delivery.
