E-309 is 10-84 at a PD fire. The ECC stops so that the rear step is opposite the hydrant. The hydrant(control) FF gets off the rig & does what?
He is equipped w/ hydrant wrench, a 2 1/2” gate & tests the hydrant. He should take a bolt cutter if necessary. 3.1
After the hydrant is deemed serviceable who keys the hydrant,& what does he do?
The hose( 5FF door 4 FF back-up) FF by pulling sufficient 3 1/2” hose from the bed. He then mounts the backstep & prepares to use signal buzzer. 3.2
If ILP is to be used what size hydrant main should you be on?
6” or larger.
During water alert ILP shall not be used unless absolutely necessary. notes 2

E-309 plans to use ILP. However they are going to need to hand stretch back to the hydrant. What is the maximum # of 3 1/2” supply hose that can be hand stretched?

one- stpo
