In order to raise a portable ladder to a roof by means of a utility rope the ladder must be properly marked. How shall a ladder be marked?
A
The 1st rung above center of port. ladders is to be marked w/ 1” tape at both ends 2” from beams. The 2nd rung above center is to be marked w/ 1” tape in the center of the rung. notes6

A
Between the ladder and the bldg.

no. they shall be raised in the nested position.
