what is the most significant sign of abdominal trauma
Unexplained shock with a high MOI and Hypovolemia
signs of shock :
Cool, clammy skin.
Pale or ashen skin.
Bluish tinge to lips or fingernails (or gray in the case of dark complexions)
Rapid pulse.
Rapid breathing.
Nausea or vomiting.
Enlarged pupils.
Weakness or fatigue.
which has a higher rate of mortality with regards to abdo trauma….. Blunt or penetrating
Blunt trauma because its easier to miss, we cant see internal bleeding
10-30% more fatal
acording to BLS 2017 slightly push organs back into abdomen
