Problems with school work
teachers assume language barriers mean students have a low academic ability
it is argues ethnic groups are culturally deprived, this consists of three factors

recieve more detentions than all ethnicities- therefore recieve less education
what is a criticism of ethnic labelling
all theories are outdated
there is less evidence now of disproportional labelling.

black pupils are more likely to be pressured into a street subculture and antischool subcultures
black boys believe education success is aligned with femininity and therefore choose not to focus and fail.

school systems are racist and operate in a way that ethnic minorities are disadvantaged compared to white children

look at data find that white pupils are excluded due to disruptive behaviour
where as black pupils excluded due to very serious problems- assualt against a pupil
therefore maybe schools are harsher towards white children.

and those who cant are put in lower sets.

the best universities, white people are more likely to get an offer.
white people have 75% chance, where as a pakistani only has 57% chance
