- when there is no mention of producers or artists involved.
what is the harm of illegal downloading?
when you download a song, image, etc. from a website you are automatically stealing money from the creator, songwriters, artists and audio engineers who have worked hard on making their “product”

how do people get caught from illegal downloading?
- Every online computer has an “IP address”. This is like a fingerprint
- Internet Service Providers can send out advisory letters to those who download copyright material
