A

debrief- inform them of the true aim and why you had to decieve and if they want their data to be used

A

presumptive consent- ask members of a population similar to those who will be ppts if they feel the deception is reasonable and the real ppts will not object to it
retrospective informed consent- during the debriefing full inform the ppts of the true aim and ask if they are willing to consent to their data being used

A

-inform ppts at the start of the study that they can withdraw at any point
-remind during the study they an withdraw data at any point
-debrief

debrief- explain true aims and how the findings will be used
deal with negative effects if necessary and offer councelling
