Q

Suffragettes evaluation

A

Most important as violent tactics such as attempting to blow up David Lloyd George’s summerhouse brought media attention to the cause and caused them to be thought about.
More important than ‘factor’ as secured a martyr with Emily Davidson jumping infront of kings horse - public sympathy overall making it the most important reason

Q

Suffragists evaluation

A

Very important - showed women were educational, responsible and educated working their way up with the use of MPs and petitions
Not as important as Suffragettes however as their peaceful tactics brought hardly any attention towards the cause and M.Willis said their progress was slow and unspectacular’ confirming that though they tried, not having a lot of media attention slowed things down
