In your own words, answer the following question with as much detail as you can in the time allowed:If you were hired as a lead character artist to spear head a team of five to develop a new animated show based on your character, how would you distribute the work among five people? Director
in charge of all aspects of the production of a film
Storyboard artist
makes storyboard drawings based on input from the Director, studio heads or Producer
Animator
Animates the Key frames, complex motions and challenging sequences; supervises Assistant Animators and Inbetween Animators
Assistant Animator
helps the Animator draw whatever he/she needs
Inbetween Animator
makes drawings in between the Key Drawings
Cleanup Artist
Cleans up drawings, makes them consistent with the entire production
Pencil-Test Technician
records the artists’ drawings and converts then into digital format or .DV files, familiar with computer equipment and software needed for the job
Digital Editor
assembles files from the Pencil-Test Technican into a single digital film, works with the director to add sound and digital FX, creates the final film
