Clinical features of erythema marginatum:

A

migratory expanding annular/polycyclic patches/plaques starting as macules

  • can migrate 2-12mm in 12 hours!!!
  • rash is present during active phase of rheumatic fever (along with carditis) and resolves in a few weeks
