what are the boundaries of the female pelvis?
iliac crest to the pelvic diaphragm

What divides them?
True pelvis: contains the bladder, sm bowel, sigmoid colon, rectum, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus.
Divided by the linea terminalis.
What pelvic muscles make up the pelvic diaphragm?
levator ani and coccygeus muscles
What 6 muscles can be seen on pelvic ultrasound?
rectus abdominis, iliopsoas, obturator internus, piriformis, levator ani, and coccygeus
What ligament houses the ovarian artery, vein, nerve and lymphatics?
The suspensory ligament of the ovary
What ligament houses the vasculature of the uterus?
cardinal ligaments
What ligament defines the lateral borders of the uterus bilaterally?
