Provision- Locally there are many local clubs in droitwich who cater for all age groups on all different sized football pitches which also include some coaching provided by the local clubs which can improve performance and maintain a BAHL. Nationally there are many grass roots which allow you to perform at a high level through mini league, football camps etc. Also involves specialist coaching to ensure high levels of performance are met. The NGB will fund all of the training camps.

Locally, there are many opportunities to participate. In droitwich there are many clubs which you can join and they all usually train at the droitwich leisure centre astro turf and playing fields. Also there are recreational places to participate such as playing fields, gravel pitches and halls both adult and junior size. All these places to participate are kept in good condition by the local council.
Nationally, there are many opportunities to participate at the elite/autonomous level such as St Georges park for football where the England football team train. These performers are seen as excellent on the performance pyramid.

Locally, in droitwich opportunities to participate in sports are very accessible because all facilities that are used to participate are central of Droitwich which is extremely accessible for all ages which promotes participation and maintains a BAHL.
Nationally there are some opportunities to participate in sports as they aren’t always that accessible because nationally the opportunities will arise a lot less as they’re usually a higher level of performance and quality such as St. Georges park.

Locally, the cost of the opportunities to participate are relatively good; astro turf costs £50 per hour to use and split between 10 people is only £5 each which is good value for money. Also there is a gym membership which costs £36 a month which is seen to be expensive but the facilities of the gym are good value for money as well. Fees to join clubs per season..

Locally, the quality of Droitwich’s facilities is extremely high because the local council keeps the facilities in the best condition as possible.
Nationally, the quality of facilities is extremely high as elite and excellent performers need the highest quality possible in order to perform at the highest level.
