A
- Inactivated in alkaline solution (bicarb)
- May increase myocardial O2 demand due to tachycardia
- Do not give subcu for anaphylaxis if pale/cool/diaphoretic
- AC IV preferred with fluid bolus if coded
- inform RN of infiltration can cause tissue sloughing
