CAUSE-SPECIFIC DEATH RATE
CSDF = No. of deaths in a specified group in a given year/Midyear population of the same specified group in that year x 1000
CASE FATALITY RATE
CFR = No. of deaths during a specified period after diagnosis of a particular disease/Total no. of people diagnosed with the disease x 100
INFANT MORTALITY RATE
IMR = No. of deaths in infants <1 year in a given year/No. Of live births in that same year x 1000
MATERNAL MORTALITY RATE
MMR = All maternals deaths occurring in a calendar year/No. Of live births in that same year x 1000
UNDER-FIVE MORTALITY RATE
UFMR = No. of children who died by the age of five/No. Of live births in that same year x 1000
PROPORTIONATE MORTALITY RATE/RATIO
PMR = No. of deaths from a specific cause or group/Total No. of deaths in that given year x 100
INCIDENCE RATE
Incidence Rate = No. of new cases of a disease in a specified population in a given time period/No. Of people in that population to disease risk in that given time period x 100
SECONDARY ATTACK RATE
No. of exposed persons developing the disease within the incubation period/No. Of people exposed to the primary case x 100
POINT PREVELANCE RATE
Point = No. of cases of a disease in a population at a given point in time/No. Of people exposed to a disease risk at that point in time x 1000
