Instructiion,Wash hand,chk equipmemt,GIVE, Explain reason treatment .Position pillow ,Cover expose area with towel,*locate treatment area any cuts or broken skin, rashing
Chck pain score,Testing cold/hot at good hand.Start chck 5x hot/cold on affected area.Report therapist to get permission.
Report hot/ cold.
I have seen Mdm Kang.Her pain score on left knee is 5/10.I have done hot/cold test.She past the test & her skin sensation is intact.May i proceed w/ the treatment.
Report sharp/ burn
I have seen Mdm Kang.Her pain score 5/10 on right elbow.
I have done sharp/burnt test.She past the test & her skin sensitivity is intact.May i proceed w/ the treatment.
Warning for hot ( 6-8 layer dry towel)
When having heat treatment, u shld feel a mild comfortable warmth.If u feel any more than this or if the heat concentrate in any particular spot or start feel uncomfortable u must call me immediately otherwise u may be in danger of being burnt.
Treatmemt Duraton 20min.Pls do not move or touch amy of equipment during treatment.If u become uncomfortable pls call me by pressing the bell.Do u understand what i have said?Are u happy for me to proceed?
Warning cold (1-2 layer wet towel)
When having ice treatment u will usually feel gradually increase cold which may follow by period of discomfort.The area shld then go numb,If u feel extreme discomfort or pain must immediately tell me otherwise u may be in danger of gettim ice burn.

Warning for Tens/ Inteferential
When having Tens/Inteferential tteatment,u shld feel tingling sensation/antbiting sensation.If u feel any more that this or discomfort,u must call me immediately, otherwise u may be in danger of getting skin/ tissue damage under electodes.

After 5 min chck any increase pain,swelling,redness ,continue for 15 mins.Ok we have complete the treatment,remove the pads.Chck the pain score.**
