1) Loss of XMSN lubrication OR illumination opf a GB CHIP warning light with an MGB CHIP annunciation on the VEMD CAUTION/FUEL page in conjunction with any of the following:
- Yaw kicks
- Abnormal transmission noises
- Unusually high power requirements

2) Loss of XMSN lubrication AND illumination of a GB CHIP warning light with an MGB CHIP annunciation on the VEMD CAUTION/FUEL page.

Any ONE of the following conditions constitutes an indication of a single malfunction. Several symptoms may be evident in a single malfunction. A loss of MGB oil pressure may precede a complete loss of MGB lubrication, and will be indicated by the following:

  • MGB PRESS warning light
  • Low XMSN oil pressure

A complete loss of MGB lubrication will be indicated by the following:

  • XMSN oil [pressure at zero
  • MGB PMP MAIN caution light
  • MGB PMP AUX caution light
  • MGB PRESS warning light

Possible:
- Abnormal rise in MGB oil temperature

Any ONE of the following:

1) Loss of MGB Oil Pressure and/or a complete loss of MGB lubrication
2) GB CHIP warning light illuminated with an MGB CHIP annunciation on the VEMD CAUTION/FUEL page
3) Abnormal transmission noises
