EOP 2 Flashcards
In ECA-3.1 state the procedure transition if any SG pressure is decreasing in an uncontrolled manner -OR- any SG is completely depressurized and has not been isolated
Go to E-2 Faulted SG Isolation, Step 1
In ECA-3.1 state the procedure transition if any SG level increases in an uncontrolled manner.
Go to E-3 SGTR, Step 1
State procedure transition at Step 13 of ECA-3.1 if RWST level is <310,000 gallons
If RWST level is <310,000 gallons then check Figure ECA-3.1-1 and determine is level is less then expected. If less than expected then Go to ECA-3.2 SGTR with loss of Reactor Coolant - Saturated Recovery Desired, Step 1
This is to conserve water.
State Procedure transition in ECA-3.1 at step 13 if SG NR >96%
Consult with TSC and go to ECA-3.2, step 1
In ECA-3.3 SGTR without Pressurizer Pressure Control state procedure transition if ECCS flow has been terminated and subcooling <40F or RVLIS is less than required for plant conditions
Manually align valves and start ECCS pumps as necessary and go to ECA-3.1
In ECA-3.3 state procedure transition if an RCP can be started
Once an RCP is started then go back to E-3 at step 17 and use normal spray to depressurize RCS
In ECA-3.3 state procedure transition if a PORV becomes available
Once a PORV becomes available then go back to E-3, Step 18 and use PORVs to depressurize RCS
In ECA-3.3 state procedure transition if an SI pump and Charging pump becomes available
Once Aux spray is in service then go to E-3, Step 17b and use aux spray to depressurize RCS
In ECA-3.3 state the procedure transition if RCS subcooling is <40F
Go to ECA-3.1 SGTR with loss of Reactor Coolant-Subcooled Recovery Desired
In ECA-3.3 state the procedure transition if an adequate heat sink can not be established
Go to ECA-3.1 SGTR with loss of Reactor Coolant-Subcooled Recovery Desired
In ECA-3.3 state the procedure transition if RVLIS indication is not with in requirements
Go to ECA-3.1 SGTR with loss of Reactor Coolant-Subcooled Recovery Desired
In ECA-3.3 state caution about implementing FR-P
In ECA-3.3 do not implement FR-P until after performing step 15. (Charging and LTDN has been established)
In ECA-3.3 state the procedure transition if pressure control is established and PZR level is restored to >7%[28%]
Go to E-3
In ECA-0.1 state the caution about SI at the beginning of the procedure
If SI is actuated prior to Step 3 of ECA-0.1 then reset SI to permit manual loading of equipment
In ECA-0.1 state when FRPs should be implemented
FRPs can be implemented after the completion of Step 9 (placing non-operating equipment in standby)
In ECA-0.1 state the procedure transition if either RCS subcooling <40F -OR- PZR level <7%[28]
Go to ECA-0.2 Loss of all AC Power Recovery with SI required
State procedure transition at the end of ECA-0.1
Go to ES-0.2 natural circulation Cooldown, Step 1
At the end of ECA-0.2 State the procedure transition
Go to E-1, Loss of Reactor or Secondary Coolant, Step 1
At the start of FR-P.1 State the procedure transition
If RCS pressure <300# and RHR pump flow is >1000GPM then return to procedure and step in effect
In ECA-1.1 state OAS statement for returning to procedure and step in effect
If Emergency Coolant Recirculation capability is restored during this procedure, further recover actions should continue with procedure and step in effect
In ECA-1.1 state OAS page regarding FR-C.2
If RCPs are not running and RVLIS full range is <40% causing an Orange C. Then do not enter FR-C.2 unless increased RCS makeup flow does not restore RVLIS to >40% (after step 4)
At the end of ECA-1.2 if the break outside containment is isolated by RCS pressure increasing state the procedure transition
If RCS pressure is increasing then the leak is isolated and go to E-1
At the end of ECA-1.2 if the break is not isolated and RCS pressure is decreasing, state the procedure transition
If the break is not isolated by the indication of RCS pressure lowering then go to ECA-1.1 Loss of Emergency Coolant Recirculation
