Environmental Shutoff Valves (NC)
Located on Pressurization Flowpack
Air to Air Heat Exchangers
Located on inboard portion of wings
-Can be controlled by manual control on Copilot switch
Vent Blower
Pulls cabin air into the cockpit for recirculation.
-AUTO: operates on LOW if CABIN TEMP switch is not in OFF position
Aft Blower
Pulls air from under cabin floor.
Recirculated to floor/wall vents and ceiling vents.
Cooler than “normal” recirculated air.
Intended for cabin cooling only (except a/c with electric heat)
Pilot/Copilot Air knobs
Warm air by feet
Defrost
Warm air for wind/glareshield
Cabin Air
Adjusts the volume of air for cabin heating
Pull to decrease
Air conditioning
Belt driven by right engine accessory section.
When ambient temp above 50F, system is available to temp control.
Annunciator (AIR COND N1 LOW) Indicates insufficient N1 to operate compressor.
Where does the air to the overhead air vents come from?
Inside of the cabin-recirculated air
