What was the Entente Cordiale?
A
- An agreement between France and Britain(not an alliance so Britain would not get involved in European affairs)
- France allowed Britain to reform in Egypt
- Britain promised to not oppose French action in Morocco

A
- Reaction to German Naval fleet
- Germany didn’t want to ally itself with Britain and France
- To solve specific problems in their Empires
- So Germany doesn’t expand and take over

A
In 1902 in reaction to the build up of Germany’s Navy, Britain’s new policy was to have a navy as large as the next 3 largest fleets in the world
