Mgt. Urgent referal to ENT
Allergic Rhinitis Treatment
Treatment:
1. Intranasal antihistamines / intranasal cortisocosteroids / combined intranasal antihistimine/corticosteroids
2. Add regular oral antihistamines
3. Montelukast (leukotriene receptor antagonist) or intranasal anticholinergic (ipratropium bromide).
Drug induced causes: Naproxen, ACE-I, phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, imidazoline receptor agonists, diuretics, CCBs, psychotropics, local decongestants and anti-thyroid medication.
