what is resilience?
being able to push through hard times and maintaining a well-being to bounce back, to adapt to change. overcoming life-changing moments and pushing through it.
what is survival?
to continue to push though difficult times.
what was the Wave Hill walk-off?
this was important in Australian history because 200 + Aboriginals walked off of their jobs at the cattle station to prove points that they had little to no money and food and show the government that this was not fair. They wanted to get their land back so that they could hunt for food and do what they used to on their land. this happened for 8 long years till the government made a change this change was on the 16th of August of 1975. this was so that the aboriginals could have a right (human rights abuse they are human)

- this being repeated over and over again shows that they/many before them started something and it growing until it is corrected.

-this is so powerful to show that they were being pushed down yet others were noticing what was going on and that others would stand and help them with their cause

- this is an important moment in history because the prime minister was giving their land back them the Aboriginals. this was something small to start with and today has turned into something much bigger. something else is that these individuals together can make a big difference.

he was in a plane crash he lost all of his family but his two step sisters helped him get through his recovery to get back into college / prove that he was capable and had lots of resilience.
