what is Imagery?

A

the imagery is to describe feelings, thoughts and experiences through words vividly.
Shakespeare was fairly good at using imagery in most of his plays, to create powerful pictures for the audience.
for example, in Macbeth, he uses blood imagery to amplify the guilt of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.
