a repetition of consonant sounds at the beginning of words.

Anaphora is the repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of each line of a poem, speech, or sermon.

When a phrase, a clause, or a sentence in a line of poetry doesn’t finish at the line break but spills over into the next line,

Assonance is the repetition of the vowel sound across words within the lines of the poem creating internal rhymes.
