Paula brown snow suit is a short story about narrator.
Her inoocess gets destroyed
Her movie showed a war film
She gets bullied by paula
Her life carefree but now being cold
She sees the lack of support hers getting
She understands that the world is not that good.

Says her life is carefree
“I can recall those changing days clear and definite as patterns seen through a kaleidoscope”
Comparing her memories from bright parttens.
The fast changing represent and foreshadows her life

She sees flight as the purest form of freedom
“The airport is my mecca my Jerusalem”
This shows that she sees this place as a heavn of sorts, a secrad place.

We find out she has an obsession w superman
She sees her uncle as superman, comparing him to super man incognito
“He bore a extraordinary resembles to superman incognito”
Before p4
She’s dreamt of superman too
“MY dreams were as unbelievable as landscapes by dali”
Saying her reality is merged with fantasy

When she goes to the movies to watch snow White but a war film comes up full of violent acts of people In the real world
This is only her first taste of reality
“I stood up and ran to the girls room, I knelt down at a toilet bowl and vomited all the cake and ice cream”
This shows that her childhood is coming to an end.
Ice cream and cake resonate with childhood

Her world from then on becomes alot duller as we can see from her description of the weather.
“Bitterly cold and the skies, grey”

She gets accused by paula for pushing her, she knows she hasn’t done it but no one believes her.
“I saw no help”
The narriators hesitation shows she is unable to really understand what she has to do, as she once did. Her perception of her own reality slipping away.

The fact that her uncle was the only thing keeping her from completely loosing herself.
But as he refused to stand up for her. Her view on him shattered
“We’ll just pay for a new snow suit”
This shows that her uncle would rather surrender instead of fight when something is wrong

“Foot steps getting fainter”
This shows that there’s now a wall in their once close relationship and that it’s only getting bigger
Final after?
“Black shodow”
Symbolises her inoccesnts being completely demolished and that now she has an understanding
That the world isn’t
Always that good.
