The first apparition is Jacob ,Marley has been suffering for his stinginess and neglectful ways when he was alive
He warns scrooge to save himself from the same fate ,tells him he will be visited by free spirits

part 1
The appearance of Christmas past?
Small figure uses a cap to cover the light ,shows him past youth,sees himself as a small boy who was neglected by his peers begins to sob .Then he sees his siter fan who joyfully announces that dad has alllowed him to come home because he is much “kinder “ and embraces her in a hug. however fan died mother of nephew fred has died many years prior .

What does belle say ?
What else does he see ?

He is in conversation with belle who breaks off their engagement crying that greed and avarice have corrupted the love that used to impassion his heart.
The spirit takes Scrooge to a more recent Christmas scene where a middle-aged Belle reminisces with her husband about her former fiancé, Scrooge. The husband says that Scrooge is now “quite alone in the world.” He begs the Ghost of Christmas Past to take him back, back to his home

Shows scenes of people casually and jokingly discussing the death of someone, no one seems saddened by the passing of the person
Later we see people several people taking things from a man that has died from his plundered bed.
Scrooge can not bring himself to raise the veil of the dead man and see his own face .
Ghost transports scrooge to a young couple who are rejoicing in the death of their merciless creditor has died releasing them from debt.

Scrooge realizes that he has died and it’s his death that makes so many people happy

Scrooge then wakes up in his bedroom on Christmas day ,
He is friendly to everyone he encounters
He gives the boy half a crown to buy the prize turkey from the butchers and have it delivered to the Cratchits.
Scrooge whispers his donation to the man Who works for the charity, who is very grateful
He goes to Church and later to Fred to celebrate Christmas.
The next day he gives Bob Cratchit a pay rise,he becomes a second father to Tinny Tim who doesn’t die
