It introduces what you are writing about.

It is made up of paragraphs.Each paragraph has one topic, they add detail to the main idea of the letter.The body is usually made up of two or more paragraphs.

It is the end of your letter it normally has questions or requests in it.

It is written In first person (me,you,I,us)
It is written in paragraphs (each paragraph has one topic)
And then you sign off the letter (kind regards,sincerely,best wishes…)

Simple past tense:
We stay in a small village.

Simple present tense:

The dog will eat all the pellets.
Continuous/progressive tense
The monkey jumps in the tree.
The monkey is jumping in the trees.
Noun

It is a person place or thing.
Susie goes to the park with her dog.
What are the nouns in that sentence?
Susie, Park and dog
Finite verbs
(What do they have?)
Tense
Subject
It makes sense by it self
Nonfinite verbs
(What do they not have?)
Do you not have a tense
Is not linked to the subject
Does not make sense
But has to have a helper verb

Ing at the end of the word and to in front of it
