10 ft radius from inlet and 4 ft aft of inlet. Increase by 20% when winds are over 25 knots.
What is the start procedure with an air start unit?
First you will preop all S EE being used then you will hook up the 108 start it up and make sure power is available then you will hook up the huffer and position it correctly behind the wing with the exhaust facing away from the aircraft. You will also make sure the hoses fully laid out with no kinks and make sure there is it no damage. Then power up the unit. Then the pilot will tell you they have electrical power. Then they will tell you to apply bleed air. Then you turn up engine one after one is up tell your lineman to shut down and disconnect the huffer. After one is up tell your lineman to shut down in disconnect the hopper and 108 and push them out of the safety diamond, then start engine two.

When can you get it accurate oil service reading?
5 to 30 minutes after engine shutdown.
