During APU start and operation, the pump operates automatically when the aircraft fuel system pressure sensor detects low fuel pressure. The pump shuts off automatically when the AC fuel pump pressurized the fuel manifold. If the AC and DC pimps are not operating fuel is auction fed from #1 tank.
