Recite engine Fire on take off and ground evacuation recalls
Following an engine Fire during the take off run, what is the captains initial response?
Close the throttles call “stopping” and bring aircraft to a stop with affected engine positioned downwind.
After bringing the aircraft to a stop following the engine Fire what should the captain do?
Put on the Park break then announce over the PA “attention attention all passengers remain seated and await further instructions”
Captain then informs the FO to notify tower of the situation including POB and FOB.
What are the recalls the captain should carry out
Confirm Park break on
Power levers flight idle
Condition levers fuel off
pull affected engine pull fuel off handle
tank aux pumps off
release extinguisher bottles forward then aft
If an evacuation is required, what are the captains recalls
Advise FO of intention to evacuate confirm Park break on both power levers flight idle both condition levers fuel off pull both pull fuel off handles then announce "attention attention,... exit, evacuate evacuate,... exit" Ext power/APU off Battery master off Leave aircraft ensuring nobody left on-board

Make a radio call saying “Borderforce… stopping”
below 50kts lock controls
below 30kts advise captain of the fire and wind direction

Monitor captain selects the park break
