Where do all living things on Earth get their energy?
A
All living things on Earth ultimately get their energy from the Sun.

How is that energy transferred by plants?
A
Plants absorb a small proportion of the Sun’s energy during photosynthesis. They store energy in the chemicals that make up their cells

How else is that energy transferred?
A
Energy is transferred to other organisms when plants and animals are eaten or decompose
Energy can also be transferred when decay organisms feed off dead organisms and the waste products of animals.
