  4. The sound waves make your ear drum vibrate
  5. The vibrations travel through your tiny bones in the middle ear
  6. Then the vibrations travel through your cochlea (inner ear)
  7. A nerve take the message about sounds to your brain
  8. You hear the sound when the message reaches your brain
