Carbon dioxide + water —> sugar + Oxygen

Why is photosynthesis required on Earth?
Most life wouldn’t exist because we can’t produce our own food. We need these producers to live.
What is cellular respiration?
Cellular respiration releases the energy in food by rearranging sugar and water to make carbon dioxide and water.
Why do we have symbiotic relationships with producers?
Because they give us the food we need to survive and we give them carbon dioxide to continue their photosynthesis.
Where does photosynthesis take place in plants?
Takes place in the leaf. Special organelles called chloroplast have a pigment called chlorophyll that absorbs light from the Sun.
Why does cellular respiration and photosynthesis have a complimentary relationship?
Because they are complete opposites.
