Potential Energy - Energy stored in an object due its position.
Kinetic Energy - energy of motion

Work - Scalar Quantity (J) Joules. Change of energy of an object when an external force is applied that displaces the object.
Power - rate at which work is done

Conservation Laws

Energy - no external energy added to the closed system
Charge - the charge is being conserved
Momentum (Linear or Angular)

Object in motion comes in contact to another object

Elastic Collisions & Inelastic Collisions

Elastic Collisions - objects remain sperated. KE and momentum are conserved
Inelastic Collisions - objects become one mass. KE is not conserved and momentum is conserved. Energy is converted to sound or heat.
