Rigid- simple tubes containing glass iod lenses, eye piece and connector for light cable

Flexible- used for GI or resp tract

Video- no optic fibres, scope is robust

A

cold sterilised using disinfectant, first wash in detergent and water to remove gross contaminants

Flush channels and immerse in disinfectant for the appropriate period of time (manufacturer guidelines)
