management for endometriosis ?

A

mild pain: paracetamol, NSAIDS

severe pain:
1st line is medical;
- hormonal treatment such as OCP or a progestogen i.e. LNG IUD, POP,

surgical;

  • diathermy of lesions
  • adhesiolysis
  • ovarian cystectomy (if endometrioma)
  • laparoscopic pelvic clearance
  • bilateral oophorectomy
