E.gs
(External) - relationship-she with other places- shown by movement of things across space
E.g people, money, resources, ideas

The urban extreme - everchanging nature of large cosmopolitan commercial cities

Rural extreme - peasant society which is looking inward, based on kinship supported by subsistence agriculture
