- inflammation
- autoimmune disease
- a risk for heart disease

Onset age 20 - 40
Prevalent in females (8:1 females:males)

What is the test to dx Cushing’s dz?
Dexamethasone suppression test
occurs in patients with excess cortisol
How does glyburide cause hypoglycemia?
A sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin secretion from the beta cells of the pancreas.
If given w/out adequate food intake will cause hypoglycemia
