insulin deficit results from the destruction of the pancreatic beta cells in an autoimmune reaction (it attacks itself!!!)
What do type I diabetics NEED?

What are complications (2) that can happen with type I diabetics?
DKA & hypoglycemia
What is happening with type II diabetes?
decreased effectiveness of insulin, they STILL have it!
What are three things that may be a result of type II? (decreased or increased)
