55 yo male with found to have A1c of 8.2%, Cr 1.42, BMP normal, LFTs normal.
-what diabetic mediations are contraindicated in this patient?
Metformin (biguanides)
Glyburide, Glipizide (sulfonylureas)
Hx if head and neck radiation, now with thyroid nodular that takes up iodine.

Papillary carcinoma
Least common thyroid cancer, is associated with increased calcitonin, MEN-II

Vasculitis Rash Arthralgias Hepatitis Agranulocytosis
Anti thyroid medication that is preferred during the first trimester
