A

3 sets of blood cultures with a short period of time inbetween. You should also perform serology

What causes indolent endocarditis?

A

Strep Viridans, found in the mouth, often occurs after dental procedures or with poor oral hygeine

A

Staph Aureus, found on the skin, often occurs in IV Drug users.
