In response to metabolic stress
What drug does a patient need urgently?
Hydrocortisone is needed immediately
They don’t need fludro as they have aldosterone working ok
Hydrocortisone, thyroxine, oestrone, GH replacement
What is a non-functioning adenoma?
A big tumour squeezes and blocks dopamine reaching the lactotrophs, so they create secondary hyperprolactinemia
