Q

What is the length type field of the Ethernet frame and how many bytes is it within the frame?

Q

What is ARP?

A

Address Resolution Protocol.
When the PC sending the data packet has the IPV4 address but not the MAC address to send the packet to a PC on the same network. The switch broadcasts a ARP request to get the MAC address of the recipient PC and give it to the Sender PC so that the sender PC can encapsulate its data packet with the destination MAC address
